Tire Problem
The Transfer Station used solid tires for years with mediocre results. Management wanted to try something new for their new machine purchase with the goal of achieving improved ride performance and longer tire life for lower cost per hour.
Trojan Solution
Installed Trojan SD Soft Core into the super deep treaded Trojan L10 Tuff Haul 66-23.5×25 bias tire.
Success / Outcome
With the implementation of the Soft Core & Tuff Haul Tire the user achieved over 16,000 hours or 7 years life on the 1st set of tires. The 2nd set of tires is currently in service at 50% wear and has achieved 10,000 hours life in 6 years. The customer estimates an additional 3 years life expectancy before having to replace the tires for only the 3rd time on this machine!
